On March 2, AB Mauri will host an event in celebration of International Women’s Day, where 20 scholarships will be awarded to women who are single mothers, sole breadwinners, or who receive government funding under schemes like Aswasuma.
This program is designed to give deserving women the chance to change their lives by providing them with the support and resources they need to succeed.
For AB Mauri, this program is about more than just giving out scholarships. It’s about celebrating women who lead, who inspire, and who overcome challenges every day.
These scholarships are an opportunity for women to enhance their skills, build better futures for their families, and be proud of their achievements. Entries for these are closing by February 20, 2025.
The March 2 event will also feature a panel discussion on topics such as women’s rights, personal styling, managing stress, and empowerment in the workplace.
The speakers including Umanda Jayasuriya, Shanika Wijesinghe, Dr. Vindya Wijayabandara, and Uthpala Nayanahari will bring a wealth of experience and knowledge that will empower attendees to take their careers and personal lives to the next level.
