Thurstan College will meet Mahinda College in the final of the Under-19 division One Tier B schools cricket tournament at MRICS Sooriyawewa on February 27, 28 and March 1.
Thurstan advanced to the quarter-final as the runners-up of their group and Mahinda advanced to the quarter-final having finished third in the same group. Thurstan won on the first inning against Mahinda in a first round fixture.
Thurstan beat De Mazenod and Mahinda beat St. Thomas College Matara in the semi-finals.
Thurstan is led by Thanuga Palihawadana and Mahinda is led by Kaveen Rukshan. Both teams were promoted to division One tier A.
