Young football enthusiasts get another opportunity to develop their skills and talents in the game with the Sri Lanka Schools Football Association will organize the Schools National Championship for the under-20 age category.
The tournament will feature 20 top school teams that has long been a platform for young talent to shine nationally. For this to happen, Sky Market Travels’ (Pvt) Limited has come forward to sponsor the tournament. They will partner with the Sri Lanka Schools Football Association (SLSFA) in collaboration with Sri Lanka Football (SLF).
An official event was held at the FFSL headquarters in Colombo celebrated the partnership with the Managing Director Mohamed Faroos handing over the sponsorship cheque to Jaswar Umar president of SLF. Also present were the Elite Youth Manager Dudley Steinwal and former national captain Sampath Perera.
