A Book titled ‘Ananda Lions in World Cricket’, and felicitation of their cricket legends will be held on February 25 (Tuesday) at Ananda College Kularatne Hall at 4pm.
This launch will coincide with the celebration of a 100 years of cricket at Ananda College.
This special book is written by veteran journalist Sarath Jayasinghe who was also a famous commentator and author of several books on Sports. The chief guest at this book launching ceremony will be renowned Old Anandian entrepreneur Ranjith Pandithage while guest of honour will be Anurudda Polonnowita a former Ananda cricket coach who gave his service for 38 years.
