Veteran actress Susantha Chandramali, best known for her memorable roles in teledramas such as Charulatha, Sujatha, and Kande Gedara, has passed away at the age of 61. Born on February 21, 1964, in Mulkirigala, Hambantota, Susantha made her mark in Sri Lankan cinema, theatre, and television over the span of nearly four decades. Her acting career began in the 1980s, and she became one of the most beloved faces in the industry. Susantha won multiple Best Actress awards for her outstanding performances, and her presence was felt across the big and small screens. She was particularly known for her powerful portrayals in dramatic roles and teledramas.
