We refer to three news items published in the Sunday Observer newspaper on January 17, 2021, January 24, 2021 and January 31, 2021 under the headlines “Sri Lanka Cricket in ‘absolute mess’ as fitness fixing opens can of worms”, “Sri Lanka Cricket Board in virtual ruins with everything fixed” and “Sri Lanka Cricket’s talk show takes hypocritical twist” respectively.
We express our sincere regret if any grief or pain of mind was caused to Mr. Shammi Silva, Chairman of Sri Lanka Cricket or any other officer due to the publication of the said news items.
