Union Assurance’s Partnership Distribution cricket fiesta concludes

Union Assurance, held its Partnership Distribution Cricket Fiesta recently, where teams from different bank channels came together, strengthening their ties through spirited competition and teamwork.

The event, held at the Wesley College grounds, showcased the outstanding performances from participants, bringing together Union Assurance’s employees for a day filled with excitement and camaraderie. The event was attended by the senior management at Union Assurance, including the Chief Executive Officer, Senath Jayatilake.

The tournament featured exceptional displays of cricket skills with Sandun Dananjaya of Nations Trust Bank’s bancassurance channel, being recognised as the ‘Man of the Match’, ‘Best Batsman’ and ‘Man of the Series’ for his remarkable all-round performance.

Tharusha Weragoda of the Union Bank’s bancassurance channel was honoured with the ‘Best Bowler’ award while Jayani Dassanayaka from the Nations Trust Bank’s bancassurance channel was named ‘Best Female Player’.

The Union Bank’s bancassurance channel earned the title of ‘Best Cheering Squad’ for their vibrant and energetic support and became the ‘1st Runner-up’ while the Nations Trust Bank’s bancassurance channel emerged as the ultimate champions of the event.

During the event, the Chief Partnership Distribution Officer at Union Assurance, Wathsala Aluthgedara said, “Our Partnership Distribution Cricket Fiesta is a celebration of the values we hold dear as a Company. At Union Assurance, we aspire to nurture and reward talent, empowering people in their unique journeys of progress. It was a privilege to witness such passion and talent on display. Congratulations to the teams for their well-deserved victory and to every participant who contributed to making this day memorable one”.
