The ITB Berlin Convention serves as the epicenter for transformative knowledge and discussions in the global tourism industry.
The ITB trade fair, the world’s leading event for the travel and tourism industry, took place from 4 to 6 March 2025, in the German city of Berlin bringing together industry professionals, exhibitors, and visitors from all over the world and concluded with a resounding success.
This global event, regarded as the world’s leading platform by the travel world this year too held at its traditional ground, Berlin Expo-Centre City, Messedamm in Berlin, with Albania as the Official Host Country, alongside a host of other corporate sponsors.
This year’s event improved on its performance where nearly 200 countries were represented at the fair, with 100, 000 attendees and 5, 600 exhibitors including 1, 300 buyers circle members and 24, 000 convention participants.
Under the theme “The Power of Transition Lives Here” over 400 international speakers shared their insights in thought-provoking sessions covering key topics such as sustainability and technology.
ITB Berlin is recognized as the most important meeting point for the global tourism industry. With more than 5,000 exhibitors from nearly 200 countries, the trade fair offers a unique platform for the presentation of tourism destinations, products and services. Participants had the opportunity to network, discover new trends and technologies, and explore business opportunities.

This year, the fair addressed crucial topics such as Adventure destinations and Responsible Tourism, luxury travel, Business Travel, LGBTQ+ Tourism, Culture Tourism, Luxury Travel, Medical Tourism, as well as MICE Hub and Youth Travel and Economic Accommodation.
Featured speakers included industry leaders, sustainability experts, and government authorities shared their knowledge and experiences in various conferences and discussion panels.

Diversity and inclusion (DEI) trends will also be addressed to ensure the travel industry can combat bias and provide inclusive experiences. With the motto: The World of Travel lives here, the global event since its inception in 1966 has increasingly witnessed growth and attracted the best of global destinations to its ever expanding exhibition halls.
Leading destinations showcased the latest of their unique offerings for the benefits of the travel world while products manufacturers and sellers displayed the latest trends in the technological world. The ITB Berlin Convention, the leading think tank of the tourism industry, with huge following has yet again reinforced their status on the world stage as an absolute success.
