Michael Joseph Jackson, known as the “king of pop ‘’ was born on August 29, 1958 in Gary Indiana, US. He is an American singer, songwriter, most famous dancer and philanthropist. His parents were Joe Jackson and Katherine Jackson. Michael Jackson was the eighth of ten children in the Jackson family.
He faced many problems in his life, besides all this; he practised hard and became very popular among the people. He sang many songs such as Earth song, Beat it, Thriller, Man in the mirror, They don’t care about us, Heal the world, Dirty Diana and Leave me alone. As a songwriter he wrote more than 150 songs. His most popular song is “Billie Jean”. Michael dedicated the song “Thriller” to his mother.
He is also famous for his “moonwalk’’ and the “smooth criminal.” He achieved world records for music and broke racial barriers in America.
As a philanthropist, Michael Jackson cared for children all over the world, poor and sick people, and nature including animals. He is known as the best solo dancer, singer in the 20th century. He died on June 25, 2009 due to a cardiac arrest. Though he is not alive, people all over the world love him and his songs will be remembered forever!
