Rain proved a spoiler at the Ananda – Nalanda annual cricket encounter that forced a draw at the SSC ground on Sunday (2).

The Trophy was shared by both teams but the side that led on the first innings keep the trophy for the first six months.

There were two centurions in the match. The first was scored by Ananda batsman Dinada Athalage and the second was scored by Nadul Jayalath during the first innings of Nalanda College.

The large gathering enjoyed the company of each other during the whole match.
