The Sri Lanka Export Development Board (EDB) conducted a webinar recently, focusing on fostering cooperation in the shipping and logistics sector between Sri Lanka and Vietnam. The main objective of the program was to promote the abilities and strength of Sri Lanka’s logistics industry in Vietnam. Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Vietnam, Poshitha Perera outlined the importance of the logistics sector in both countries for economic development, stating the potential for mutual growth through improved connectivity and infrastructure development.
Chairman and CEO of EDB, Mangala Wijesinghe also spoke.
A series of presentations by officials from Sri Lanka and Vietnam followed, providing insights into locational advantage, investment opportunities, operational best practices, and industry collaboration.
