Isipathana College, under the guidance of the Thimbirigasyaya Divisional Secretariat and with the support of the Department of Manpower and Employment, successfully hosted Career Fair 2025 at the school’s New Auditorium. The event, organized in collaboration with the Isipathana College Old Boys’ Association, aimed to provide students with valuable career insights and educational opportunities.
A key highlight of the event was The Careers Key, a psychometric tool designed to evaluate students’ potential, educational strengths, and personality traits, helping them align their skills with modern job market demands. The fair catered to students sitting for the 2025/2026 A/L exams, past A/L students exploring career opportunities, and prospective O/L students preparing for their future academic and career paths.
The program also included awareness sessions on the evolving job market and employer expectations, equipping students with essential knowledge to navigate their career choices.
Through expert-led discussions and interactive guidance, participants had the opportunity to explore higher education pathways, vocational training programs, and skill development courses offered by reputable government institutions and private universities.
With a strong focus on bridging education and employment, Career Fair 2025 provided students with the tools and knowledge needed to make informed decisions about their future.
The event reinforced Isipathana College’s commitment to career readiness, ensuring students are well-prepared to meet the challenges of an evolving workforce.
