Nine export companies participated, showcasing a diverse range of certified organic agricultural products, including food and beverages, spices, tea, coconut-based products, fruits and vegetables, and Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) certified Ceylon Cinnamon products.

BioFach provided a platform for organic producers, exporters, and buyers from around the world to connect, exchange business opportunities, and explore the latest trends in the organic industry. The following companies participated: Ellawala Horticulture, Bespice, Ranre International, Jayanath Spices, Waguruwela Oil Mills, Ceylon Exports and Trading, Aikya Agro, People’s Organisation for Development Import and Export and Ceylon Coco Green Manufacturing.

The companies secured confirmed orders to the value of USA 0.2 million at the trade fair itself and orders to the value of over an USD 0.83 million in the negotiation stage, a media release from the EDB stated.
