Miss Sri Lanka for Miss Universe auditions took off to a grand start with glitter, glamour beauty on the ramp when a hundred candidates vying for the prestigious title came before a panel of judges to be chosen for the finals.
A judge panel led by National Franchise holder for the pageant, Nirmal Bandara, comprised also of Manori Dayarathna, Kamil Hewavitharana, Chula Padmendra, Piyumal Sithum, Yureni Noshika and Brian Kerkoven.
Fifty (50) candidates were chosen and after one other event – the preparations will take place for the main pageant to be held in June. The Miss Universe International pageant is to take place in Thailand in November.
