The annual awards and certificate ceremony of Siddhartha Central College, Balapitiya under the theme ‘Suduhath Sisu Abhiman’ was held recently at the college auditorium under the patronage of the Principal, Mahesha Rooshini Thabro.
Additional Education Director, Chithra Bamunusingha was the chief guest and Director, Ambalangoda Educational Zone, Anuruddhika Kalahewatta and Director Education, Balapitiya Division, Harshani Sampath were the guests of honour.
Eighteen students who had gained university admission based on the 2023 Advanced Level examination were awarded.
The award ceremony was sponsored by the Handunnetti family who are distinguished college alumni, currently living abroad.
