Rúpa is a group exhibition showcasing a diverse collection of original artwork by ten Sri Lankan artists. This unique exhibition celebrates the fusion of imagination and reality, offering viewers a glimpse into the creative minds of both emerging and established artists who have mastered the art of blending styles, genres, and techniques to create great works of art.
Their paintings and sculptures will be on display at Sky Gallery of The Fareed Uduman Art Forum from March 26 to 30. The opening will be on March 26 at 6.30 pm, while the exhibition will be open on the other days from 10.00 am to 7.00 pm.
Rúpa will feature the works of Prageeth Rathnayake, Prasadani Kumari, Prabhani Amandika, Sanjaya Gunarathna, Dhanushka Ariyarathna, Avanthi Jayasinghe, Thusitha Leelarathna, Vimukthi Samaraweera, Rajitha Perera, and Dinesh Perera. Each artist brings their unique perspective and artistic voice to the exhibition, creating a rich tapestry of themes and emotions that will resonate with art lovers.
From thought-provoking paintings to intricately crafted sculptures, the artworks on display reflect the artists’ deep connection to their cultural roots while exploring universal themes of identity, nature, and human experience.
