Impactr, an organisation dedicated to upskilling, digital technology, and community empowerment, launched its Founder Workshop series in Colombo.
The series aims to equip entrepreneurs, business owners, and startups with essential skills for growth. On February 25, the inaugural workshop, focusing on Personal Branding for Founders, was held at the Department of Coffee, Colombo 7.
The workshop, led by Digital Marketing Strategist, Consultant, and Co-founder of Impactr, Indu Nanayakkara was designed to help entrepreneurs and business owners set up a strong personal brand. With a small group of 15 participants, the session provided hands-on guidance on how founders can differentiate themselves in an increasingly competitive market.
Nanayakkara said, “The marketing landscape is undergoing a massive shift locally and globally, and this is why we at Impactr believe that personal branding is going to be a game-changer for any business in 2025 and beyond. “Following the global pandemic, the rise of Gen-Z as decision-makers, and now the rapid integration of AI, founders must position themselves as industry leaders if they want their businesses to thrive,” he said.
The session covered brand positioning, storytelling, digital presence, and AI-driven branding strategies, equipping attendees with actionable insights to build authority and credibility. Impactr’s workshops follow this experiential learning method which employs real-world or simulated scenarios to cultivate critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
