Shehan claims 6 for 7 runs

A majestic bowling performance by Shehan Sandeepa gave Wickremashila National School a clear lead of 378 runs over DS Senanayake Central Mirigama in their cricket encounter at the end of the second day at Wickremashila NS ground in Giriulla yesterday.

Anjana Nimesh scored a grand 147 runs with 17 boundaries as Wickremashila NS piled up a massive 323 runs in their first innings. He was also involved in two big partnerships with Supeshala Sithil and later with Shehan Sandeepa.

DS Senanayake Central were bundled out for a paltry 69 runs with Shehan Sandeepa claiming six wickets for just seven runs.

The match will be continued for the third day today.
