South Indian film Star Ravi Mohan arrived in Sri Lanka, and met with Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority officials on March 27 to explore Sri Lanka’s potential as a premier destination for celebrity and film tourism in a bid to strengthening cinematic collaborations.
More and more Indian business entities are looking at Sri Lanka as a film location, event destination and for Indian high profile social gatherings.
A much-anticipated film Parasakthi is currently being filmed in Sri Lanka.
Directed by Sudha Kongara th film began its first shooting schedule in Madurai.
The second phase of filming is now underway in Sri Lanka, featuring key locations across the country.
The film boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Sivakarthikeyan, Ravi Mohan, Atharvaa, Srileela, Prithviraj, Guru Somasundaram, and Basil Joseph. Music composer GV Prakash is scoring the soundtrack for what marks his milestone 100th film.
Parasakthi is produced by Don Pictures, with cinematography by Ravi K. Chandran and editing by Sathish Surya. The film is being made on a grand scale, with a budget of approximately 250 crore.
