Rain restricts play at Pallekele

Dharmaraja College are in a commanding position in their annual ‘Battle of the Maroons’ cricket encounter being played at the Pallekele Stadium yesterday.

However, the match could not progress for a long period due to poor weather conditions.

In reply to Dharmaraja’s first innings total of 454 for 2 declared, Kingswood could score only 105 for 4 at the close on day two.
