In a world where crime and accidents are increasingly common, ensuring safety today means securing a better tomorrow.

With this in mind, the Leo Club of SLIIT successfully organized the second phase of the impactful project “Anthrantha Phase 2”, under the theme “Protecting Today for a Safer Tomorrow.” The project took place on Friday, April 4, 2025, at Mahamaya Girls’ School, Kadawatha. The initiative focused on raising awareness among schoolchildren and their parents about the importance of preventing child abuse and promoting safety.

A special awareness session was conducted under the theme of child crime prevention, encouraging vigilance and education to combat such threats.

In addition, the school’s Road Safety Unit was officially reactivated, reinforcing the importance of traffic discipline and road safety among students.

Through this initiative, the Leo Club of SLIIT aims to build a safer, more informed community and contribute meaningfully towards the protection of the younger generation. The project met with great enthusiasm and marked another successful step in community-focused youth leadership.
