Beauty of Sri Lanka, the fifth annual photography exhibition of the America Sri Lanka Photographic Art Society (ASPAS) 2025 will be held in Los Angeles, New York, and Washington DC in April and May in collaboration with the Embassy of Sri Lanka to the United States, the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau, and the Consul General Office in Los Angeles.
The purpose of the exhibition is to embark on a visual journey through Sri Lanka’s mesmerising landscapes and vibrant culture where every frame tells a story of adventure, diversity, and human spirit.
The exhibition highlights are the Rich Heritage and Art of Sri Lanka, Diverse Flora and Fauna, Breathtaking Landscapes and Seascapes, Elephant Sanctuaries, Bird-Watching Sites and Waterfalls in Sri Lanka.

· On April 26, 2025 – Celebrity Center International Hollywood, Los Angeles.
· On April 29, 2025: The Permanent Mission of Sri Lanka to the United Nations in New York.
· On May 3, 2025: The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Washington DC along with the Passport DC.
Top leading photographers will showcase their vibrant images at the show. An award-winning wildlife documentary “The Great Elephant Gathering of Asia“ by Dilum Alagiyawanna will provide an immersive look at Sri Lanka‘s rich biodiversity.
As part of the “Earth Day” celebrations, ASPAS is proud to present the “Re Tree L A” tree planting event an initiative dedicated to restoring and revitalising the ecosystem in Los Angeles. 100 plants will be distributed to the attendees at the “Beauty of Sri Lanka” exhibition, at the same venue to raise environmental awareness among individuals to take an active role in rebuilding green environments.

And also to help boost the ecosystem damaged by the recent wildfires in Los Angeles. Eventually, we believe this will help to recreate the habitats for wildlife and in return have a green planet for future generations.
The following Award-winning artists will represent Sri Lanka: Laksitha Karunarathna, Riznad Hussain, Sameera Kotelawala, and acclaimed Sri Lankan photographers from the USA: Andy Samarasena, Dr. Sumedha Jayasena, Ms. Lasanthica Fernando Benedict, Madushan Wanniarachchi, Shantha Weerasinghe and Suriya Perera. Media Representatives are Malwalage Lal Hemantha, and Udaya Shantha Idamagedara. Ms.Medani Rathnayaka is the MC of the event.
