In its inimitable style the Cinnamon Grand rose to the occasion by holding their Avuruddu celebrations for the regular guests and invitees at their award winning restaurant – Nugagama in its entire splendor.
Synonymous with the restaurant’s famous name aptly titled after the famous Nugagaha, which stands majestically at the centre of the compound was beautifully lit and decorated to suit the occasion. Nugagama thus glistened with the traditional Avurudu adornments in its typical village atmosphere. The programme was equally exciting with all the traditional Games that are conducted at our villages in the country.
Following all traditions, Area Vice President and General Manager Kamal Munasinghe, did not stint in making it a memorable evening for the guests- he welcomed the guests to this award winning Restaurant with equal enthusiasm of the guests, both local and foreign who were eagerly awaiting to join the fun and adventure to partake in the evening’s traditional Games lined up that went on to the late hours of the evening. Director, F & B Cinnamon Grand, Namal with his team ensured that the sumptuous buffet included all the sweetmeats that one can think of for Avurudu. Nugagama – The village in the city was a Grand Avurudu that will be etched in the memory of all who attended, for a long time!
