Tomato and salmon pasta
Ingredients
500 grams of any type of pasta
250 grams of tomatoes
1 small can of salmon or tuna
1 large onion diced
3 to 4 cloves of garlic
Green or black olives
2 tablespoons of olive oil
1 teaspoon of mixed dried herbs
1 teaspoon of sugar
Salt and pepper to taste
Grated cheese
Method
With your mom’s help boil a pot of water with salt.
Once the water is boiled add the pasta and cook it for 8-10 minutes and drain, while saving a tea cup of pasta water.
Add the olive oil and fry the onions, tomatoes, and garlic.
Add the can of salmon or tuna along with the olives and mix well.
Cook down the tomatoes until it forms a thick sauce, season with salt, pepper, mixed dried herbs and sugar.
Add the drained pasta, pasta water to the sauce and mix it well.
Sprinkle with cheese and serve hot.
