Mecca, the Sacred City

Mecca is the birth place of Prophet Muhammad. Mecca is a city in the heart

of Sirat Mountains in Central Saudi Arabia. Every year Muslims go on a

pilgrimage to Mecca. This is called Haji, where they follow the footsteps of Prophet Muhammad. All Muslims who are able to perform the Haji are expected to do so at least once in their lifetime.
