24 September, 2017

Jetwing Ayurveda Pavilions becomes the first hotel in Sri Lanka to be certified by VeggieHotels – the first vegetarian hotel association worldwide. Introducing a holistic Ayurvedic experience, Jetwing Ayurveda Pavilions has incorporated a purely vegetarian and vegan menu in line with the treatments offered at the property.

Since 2011, VeggieHotels offers a platform that connects vegetarian and vegan guests and hosts worldwide. VeggieHotels have taken a pioneering role by reducing the carbon footprint of a vegetarian and also highlighting the significance of vegan diets attesting to the positive environmental impact of VeggieHotels. In addition, VeggieHotels fulfil daily the ethical aspects of tourism that practices harmlessness toward animals.

In its vision to create an experience that is holistic and all-encompassing in terms of wellness, Jetwing Ayurveda Pavilion has ensured that even dining at the resort is a nourishing experience through its vegan and vegetarian menu. In keeping with the healing and healthy policies of Ayurveda, the Herb and Spice restaurant specializes in nutritious cuisine allowing guests to choose from its nourishing vegan and vegetarian menu.

Signature dishes by skilled chefs include, the traditional Sri Lankan ‘hath maluwa’, an ancient recipe combining seven ingredients with strong medicinal properties that together, create a delicacy that prevents and treats a range of physical ailments. The restaurant serves up a variety of special Ayurvedic meals and beverages, crafted to promote well-being, that have been prescribed by our physicians.

Designed in keeping with the aesthetics of a traditional Sri Lankan village, where open spaces allow for man to always be in close connection with the environment around him, guests at Jetwing Ayurveda Pavilions will be able to feel the warmth of the sun and the cool breeze through the trees as they slip into the bliss that ayurvedic healing provides.

Ayurveda is a collection of ancient healing practices that is both, a science and an art. These have been perfected across generations and now, trained doctors and professionals put them into practice within the peaceful environment at Jetwing Ayurveda Pavilions. Guests have the option of being treated in their own private villa and garden, a haven of solitude where treatments will be administered. The 12 spacious King and Queen pavilions painted in earthy tones and furnished in luxury allow you to fully submerge in an exclusive ayurvedic experience.

There’s also the 24 classic and standard rooms located in close proximity to the ayurvedic centre which provide comfort for guests who receive their treatments at the Ayurveda centres (Ayurveda Niwasa and Veda Arana). Lock out the fatigue and stress of the world and retreat into the wonders of traditional Ayurveda in an oasis of ultimate tranquillity – a healing idyll located in the bustling seaside town of Negombo.

With 15 years of experience in Ayurveda, the property seeks to blend the principles and elements of traditional ayurvedic treatments with the experience of the hotel, creating a place that nurtures deep relaxation, promoting wellness of the body and spirit.

The Ayurveda centres leave no guest unattended and will ensure that you receive an unparalleled range of treatments based on ancient Ayurvedic therapy. Through the intricate assessment of individual body constitution by an Ayurveda doctor, the expert team is able to determine the treatment plan best suited to you. Apart from the recommended treatments this also allows guests to follow a healthy diet advised by the Ayurvedic doctor.
