The 140th Anniversary of Girls’ High School, Kandy was celebrated on a grand scale at the School premises on May 21, 2019. The School was started in the year 1879 with just 11 students and today there are over 5,000 students of multi races studying in the School. The function was organized by the Old Girls’ Association of the School with the assistance of the Principal, staff and students.
