It was seventy minutes of storming rugby at the Bogambara Stadium last evening when Vidyartha College fought bravely to the end although it was a one-sided game to beat St. Sylvester’s College 66-22 in their inter school match. Vidyartha scored as many as ten tries and converted eight in an exhibition of top class rugby after leading 42-12 at half time.
Gehan Yatawara refereed the match. In the junior games Vidyartha won the Under 14 match 15-10 as well as the Under 16 contest 5-0.
