Royal College played impressively to defeat St. Anthony’s College by 37 points to 14 in their Dialog Schools Rugby league encounter played at Bogambara Stadium yesterday.
Royal performed a superb brand of rugby with the ball to help them pile on the points. They led by 15 points to nil at half time.
Royal collected their points from three goals, two tries and two penalties while the home team replied with two goals.
The victory margin by Royal can be considered a good show by them who scored their first try within a few minutes of the kick off.
St. Anthony’s changed their pattern of play in the second half and scored a goal early in the half.
They continued to handle the ball well and scored another goal to make it 18-14 with Royal leading.
From that point onwards Royal controlled the game to add another 19 points to make their final tally 37 points.
