Tenderness

Not that my love for you is abated a pin,
Nor you have offended me of any sorts;
But something pinches me deep within,
Of which I fear you’d miss safe boats!
You’re tender despite being a youth,
You’re mature yet not up to your age;
You may be cherishing some will smooth,
But ingredients of success fill many a page!
A person must before achieve skills,
Not just anything so that the gap fills;
An amateur may fail after tenfold drills,
Rational design will bring you the thrills!
