To commemorate World Hindi Day (Vishwa Hindi Divas) -2020, a series of events are organized at the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre, High Commission of India, Colombo, on January 10, 2020. The details of the events are as follows: Book release of the proceedings of the International Hindi Seminar conducted on December 4, 2019, on the topic “Hindi Aur Sinhalese Samanantar Dharaiyen” (a comparative study of Hindi and Sinhala language and culture) in collaboration with the University of Kelaniya. The book, published by Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre, contains 15 articles written by national and international scholars on the topic.
