The first anniversary celebration of Udappu Aandimunai Krishna Primary School, prize giving and felicitation of the guests, was held on May 5 at the school main hall.
The event was chaired by the Principal K. Thondamaan.
The Education Minister of North Western Provincial Council, Sandhya Kumara S. Rajapaksha, North Western Provincial Councillor, N.T.M. Thahir, Zonal Education Director, Puttalam South, S. Nimalsiri and many others attended the event.
The guests planted young saplings of shady trees in the school premises. Many students who won in competitions held in the preschool, were awarded prizes.
The Education Minister, North Western Provincial Council and North Western Provincial Councillor, were honoured.
