American Media has reported that, former US President Donald Trump has been charged for dealing with classified documents after he left the White House.
According to US Media, Trump faces seven charges including unauthorised retention of classified files, US media reported. However, these charges are not yet made available public yet and hence Department of Justice has not yet commented on the matter.
This is the second indictment of Donald Trump and the first ever federal indictment of a former president.
There are concerns raised as to whether the indictment and even the subsequent prosecution can affect his chances of entering re-elections in 2024.
